Callaway FT 9 will be introduced by callaway in October 2009. Although Callaway are trying to keep its product line ups secret a little bit is known about the new driver. The Callaway FT 9 will be replacing the Callaway ft 5. Again the Callaway Ft 9 will be using Hyperbolic Face Technology, that basically means that the club face has variable thickness but Callaway have also introduced aTitanium Face Cup forbetter ball speed robustness. The shape of the Callaway FT 9 moves the weight back in the club reducing the spin rate producing a longer ball through a lower piercing flight. The fade version will no longer available as the Callaway FT 9 is only available in draw and neutral. Callaway claim that the driver is longer as the FT 5 but More forgiving than FT-i. They will be normal custom fitting option including the standard FUJI Z-com shafts
