Platzreife in Gut Ising

Golf in Germany is a little bit different as in the rest of the world. German like rules and unbelievably there is also a test and exam thats necessary for a golfer to take to be allowed on a golf course. The examination is called Platzreife  and there are many parts to the exam not only is playing ability tested but also rules and etikette. In many lands the golfers themselves control what happens on a golf course and it appears to work very well. In Germany the control and etikette is definitely not better as in the UK or America.

The golf exam can be offered at any of 170 authorised golf clubs and the DGV Platzreife should be the same at all the golf clubs in Germany. The DGV is the German is the equivalent of  a golf union. One of the best golfclubs to take the exam is Gut ising am Chiemsee a hotel with 9 holes. The golf lessons take place from  monday to friday every week and are run in a relaxed atmosphere . Chiemsee is one  the most popular areas in Bayern and offers lots more to do than just golf.
