The Mizuno MP-62 is a Tour design based on the feedback from golf professionals on both European and American Tours. The adjustment and changes demanded from Professionals have been noted and used. The Mizuno Tour vans have also been considerably involved in the development of these club
The new Mizuno Iron´s have a very slight offset and the sole plate grind is based on Luke Donald´s personal favorite. Unlike mostnew clubs coming on to the market the Center of Gravity has not been lowered, instead it has been placed centrally . The Mizuno Mp 62 has a slight left to right draw shot shape obviously advantageous to the better players. The Mizuno Mp 62 has a dual Muscleback that helps to controlthe shaft frequency and reduces vibration.
Mizuno´s famous high quality custom fitting is available without extra cost with numerous shaft, however once again Mizuno only recommend 2 degrees or a half an inch from the standard. The sweetspot has been moved more to the toe of club and is five procent bigger. Mizuno have also introduced U grooves for extra spinand much more control around the green.
