Taylormade have introduced new innovations through a patented dual crown , because they is a lot less weight in the crown, the head is an amazing 12% lighter as the normal Burner draw. The advantageous new design has made it possible to create a centre of gravity that is 40% lower as its counterpart the Burner TP. Obviously the driver is very easy to hit and should be able to create more club head speed as its counterparts , with the low centre of gravity and its two degree open club face the TP model should be extremely long and makes it very easy to shape the ball. Both the new drivers use the inverted core technologies (basically that a shallow cone is built inside the clubhead that produces a higher Moment of inertia (MOI) through a larger percentage of the clubs face . The new Taylormade driver are both very close to the allowed maximum club head speed as defined by the R&A. The Tour Burner comes with a specially designed lighter grip and a 60 gram Superfast shaft to increase the club headspeed The amazing weight savings make it possible to have a shaft length from 45.5 inches .

The Taylormade Superquad which was introduced at the start of 2006 it is an advancement of the movable weight technology that makes it possible to place weights in different parts of the club to promote higher or lower shots and also the possibility to arrange the weights so that the shape of the ball can be a draw or a slice . By changing the positioning of the two 12g or the two 1g weights can change the launch angle by up to 1.5 degrees . the centre of grvity is extremely low by this driver and once again promotes a very high flight.
