The Number one golf ball company Titleist have introduced two new golf balls
Both of the balls are aimed at average or hobby golfers, the speciality of the two ball is to deliver extra distance, through matching the flight trajectories of the balls to the needs of the average golfer
The Titleist PTS Carry and the Titleist PTS Roll are the first PTS balls that are aimed at a specific group of golfers. Over the last 30 years Titleist have soldover a billion PTS golf balls. Before Titleist introduced the balls they did a market survey from over 3000 hobby golfers what they wanted from a golf ball ( the first time in history that a golf company asked its customers what they wanted before a ball was produced)
The balls are designed to deliver different flight trajectory, obviously the PTS Carry flies higher and has less run, and the PTS Roll has a lower flight trajectory and therefore explodes on landing. The majority of golfers could notice a big difference between the two balls.
Titleist believes that a lot of golfers with a moderate swing wpeed will be benefited by a high trajectory or by more run.
Titleist PTS Carry -This golf ball has a very low compression, and together with a very soft surlyn cover the 252 dimple ball creates a high take off. Again the ball has a very soft inner core for the same reasons.
Titleist PTS Roll obviously this ball has a higher compression and has a 392 dimple pattern, the dimple pattern comes in 5 different designs to allow variable playing characteristics. Both ball come with Titleist Aim system that makes it easier for alignment by putting.The recommended price for both balls is €31 per 12 balls.
